TO DUPLICATE THIS SHEET:

Open a new tab. Log into Gmail. Go to Google Sheets. Create a new one, title it whatever you like. Come back into this sheet. At the bottom of this spreadsheet, you'll see there are two tabs. This one is called "READ ME FIRST" and the second one is called "Prediction Time Baby." Click the arrow on the right of "Prediction Time Baby," then click Copy To. Select the new spreadsheet you created. Go to your new spreadsheet. The tab you're looking for will be in the second tab. Delete the first tab, so your new tab is the only one.

TO MAKE YOUR PREDICTIONS:

Put a W or L in the PREDICTION column for each game. Make sure you aren't accidentally predicting a W or L for both teams in the same game -- keep track as you go! The Ws and Ls will collect into a W-L record for each team below their schedule and at the bottom of each conference, separated by divisions. Use that to figure out your division winners. From there, predict your championship winners and create your projections for the final Top 25 and Playoff matchups (at the bottom).

TO KEEP TRACK THROUGHOUT THE SEASON:

As the season goes on, plug a W/L into the RESULT column to keep track of how each team actually did. Put a Y/N in the WERE YOU CORRECT column to keep track of whether your prediction was right or wrong. As you do this, your correct/incorrect record will compile for each team, each conference and the whole nation (at the bottom). Make sure to use the inputs specificied (W/L/Y/N) -- otherwise it won't compile correctly. The sheet will also compile each team's real-life W-L record. Make a copy of this tab in your new spreadsheet as well if you want to keep these instructions handy.
